What JEV is controlling

JEV Live is the default: JEV chooses a concrete key sequence such as rotateCW → left → left → hardDrop. Those controls are pressed one by one through the normal engine while gravity keeps advancing.

JEV Direct is the raw research mode: every API response chooses exactly one next input. It is the most literal control loop, but slower and more expensive.

Planner + motor is retained only as a comparison mode: JEV chooses a landing intent and a deterministic motor pursues it.

Neither mode teleports a piece. Collision, wall kicks, gravity, lock delay, line clears, hold and spawning are always owned by the Tetris engine.
